Hindsight is 20/20, but if someone tried to pull that shit on me, I'd have demanded the math right there on the side of the road. How fast did you estimate I was going? You counted time between shadows in your head? How many seconds did you count? How far apart do you estimate the light poles? Write those numbers on the ticket, and I'll see you in court, because I'd bet a month of paychecks on hitting the Mega Millions before I bet that your cowboy math would work out.

Ohh no man, he had pulled this trick before. He was prepared for all my questions. I was so dumbfounded in the moment, so I did not ask for the hard numbers at the time. However, in court I did, and he had everything scripted out. When he got that summons, I bet he fucking measured the distance between light poles and made sure he would not so much as stutter in court. They are trained how to testify.
