Earth’s richest 1,000 individuals now control as much wealth as the poorest 2.5 billion people on the planet. This super elite uses its vast wealth to control the media, influence politicians, and bend laws to their favor.

No many of them live in this country.

This country is a seething shithole of an exponentially growing extreme poverty class.

46.37 million Americans live below the poverty line and are only able to eat because of government assistance.

Of that 46.4 million 23 million are children.

There are 34 million people in Canada for some perspective.

While I agree, the poverty line here in the US is slightly higher than many countries. I've seen things in Egypt, Mexico, India, Africa etc. that are on a whole other scale.
