Ashwagandha(KSM) and Libido Experience

Original post in this thread

I decided to add KSM to my daily stack to aid into getting more serious about my weight training routine. I thought everything was fine until I realized that I wasn't getting aroused with my gf, and when I did I couldn't really keep it up. This is the total opposite of me 4 days ago before I started.

I know that the science states the opposition where Ashwagandha tends to boost libido and Test but this is the only change to my stack.

In the future, I think KSM is more situational for a stressful time period like at work or a major life event, but on a daily basis, be sure to take note if you notice anything weird going on down there.

In other news, I've been experimenting with lion's mane alone and noticed what one user once commented on regarding a dysphoric effect of lion's mane. I remember that thread as it is one in which you commented as it was about Nammex's lion's mane. I'm telling you about this, merely as an update and it shouldn't be interpreted as blame, as I'm not that type of person. As far as I'm concerned, the dysphoric effect is quite powerful, so I'll take a break from it for the time being. I'm going to have a two-week vacation during the Holidays, so I'll use that time to experiment some more. The dysphoric effect is powerful enough that it was starting to make me want to re-consider my RN job. Mind you, it is not an easy line of work and I sometimes wonder what got into me to make it a career, but I usually deal OK with the downright depressing stuff I see on a regular basis. I usually use those events as motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle.

I'd add that I do much better on cordyceps miltaris - sure, I do get an occasional rise in aggressiveness, but I can deal with that, but not despair. I can now better understand why you love cordyceps. There's only reishi I haven't experimented much with thus far. I'll do so when I'm off during the Holidays. I'm just glad I tried out cordyceps !

Yeah, it seems water extracts of Lion's Mane can be a bit dysphoric for some. I have been reading up on it. We have a dual water/ethanol extract of Lion's Mane about to go up. We'll have to see if that extract lowers/eliminates that effect at all.

Cordyceps is certainly my favorite! I love stimulating/energizing things. That probably shows in the recommendations I give. Haha

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I just disappeared and became a cheese farmer in the Swiss alps. Is all this stress and energy worth it in the end? Then I realize that nothing really means anything, and our internalized reality is the only "real" thing about our existence. So I suck it up, and push forward. I can imagine that being an RN leads to very similar trains of thought at times. Haha

Lion's Mane has been a godsend

Replying to saladon · It's awesome to see how much you're invested in the future of mushrooms. Are there any that you're still personally taking?

I think we are going to be doing some very cool things with mushrooms! I still use most of the mushrooms, just not every day. Cordyceps is still my favorite, but white jelly is fantastic to cycle in for skin health. Obv
