Synapsa Is Amazing but those GI Issues...Advice?

Original post in this thread

So I'll start off by saying Synapsa has been a great supplement for myself. I've used the Monnieri brand in the past and that came with depression and lethargy.

However, the Synapsa brand noticeable changes my mood, it makes me more calm and collected and I dosed 300mg for 2 weeks before stopping due to stomach pains. But they were horrible and out of the norm and my bowel movements were painful as well.

I stopped dosing but was wondering if there is anything I can do to offset. I know some users reported these issues but they went away but not for myself. Dosed at night, in the mornings, or even with food. Any help?

Edit: Started taking a probiotic called VSL3 and these issues are not happening anymore. Thanks everyone!!

What's your current dosing/schedule look like? Can you give a brief synopsis of the effects of each mushroom? Thanks!

Right now I am cycling down to baseline, but my usual dosing is 1,000mg Lion's Mane, 500mg Cordyceps, and 1,000mg Reishi. The Lion's Mane seems to boost mood a bit acutely, and help memory over time. The Cordyceps gives me energy, motivation, and an endurance boost. The Reishi calms me a bit, and balances things out.

Replying to saladon · It's awesome to see how much you're invested in the future of mushrooms. Are there any that you're still personally taking?

I think we are going to be doing some very cool things with mushrooms! I still use most of the mushrooms, just not every day. Cordyceps is still my favorite, but white jelly is fantastic to cycle in for skin health. Obv

Yes, we will be releasing some more mushroom products down the line.

You would not make a tincture of our extract, as the chitin has already been broken down for you. His instructions are for doing a dual water/ethanol extraction with raw mushrooms. Our powder is already extracted and bio
