Tbf, most people are getting enough sugars already in their diet and really do not need more, even if it isn't that much more. Lots of people are already over the recommended daily limit, but then again the people here usually eat healthier, so maybe most on here at least aren't past that recommended limit.
Question: The mushroom blends don't contain fiber, but do the Beta-Glucans slow down sugar absorption like fiber would?

I get it. Most people here want to avoid sugars. I don't blame them. People buy what fits their lifestyle best.
Mushrooms don't contain traditional dietary fiber, but the beta-glucans in the mushrooms do act as a type of fiber. It has just not been elucidated clearly enough to be listed as a dietary fiber source. However, we are working with a few other labs to try and solve that, so we can let people know the dietary fiber equivalents they are getting with the 1:1 mushrooms.
