What they were answering

Thank you so much for sharing that info. Definitely helpful to see some of those characteristics. Also agreed that is fascinating its receptor target predictions seem to be very accurate.
Do you think there’s some meaningful ways to improve bioavailability? Maybe mixing with oil, complexing with lecithin, co-administering piperine? Other CYP inhibitors perhaps.

I think to answer that question we first need to answer what its bioavailability is. What most people don't realize is that you can make bioavailability worse by trying to make it better. This is what is happening a lot of the time with the bullshit liposomes out there. We work at lot with Indena. We sell multiple of their extracts, and we are very friendly with them. They love us because we are the crazy people that will just go call people out in the industry, and they think it is entertaining. They also love the way we push the envelope forward on the R&D side. I had a call with their CEO and executive team a little while back, where we decided to partner with each other more closely on developing new ingredients. As part of that, we have gone into pretty deep discussions with them on certain ingredients. They always run pharmacokinetic studies on their stuff before coming to market. What was interesting is that some of the ingredients we worked on with them actually got worse when putting them into a phytosome. Then others improved, but only slightly; not enough to justify the added cost. So you have to be careful when trying to improve bioavailability without any data backing it up. You can make things worse without realizing it.
