It's normal in the sense I haven't got the flu for a long time. I was recently out of the country for work and got sick not to the level of your India story, but I was stuck inside puking for a solid week from street meat. I took the antibiotics the hospital gave out and chucked the folk medicines and it went away.
I'd agree, it seems like histamine, many things have caused that for me. When I mention Epicor helped with gastro issues, I should clarify that coffee used to give me these reactions big-time, and if I took Epicor before I would not get histamine-like reaction. I'm skeptical by nature, but Epicor certainly does something and is worth a shot for allergies or keeping the immunity up. I've just noticed very different reactions from different vendors, for all I know one was just horse feed and I was getting hay fever.

Which vendor did you get good effects from, and which one gave you the side effects? I bought a bunch of them on the market, and ran some testing on them. A couple brands had other compounds in them in measurable amounts. I thought they were excipients, but could be causing an allergic reaction for you.
