What makes you think it was this and not the probiotic that helped you? Anecdotally, taking VSL#3 has done more than anything else to keep my Crohn's disease in check for more than three years - I've never gone that long without a flare-up since I was diagnosed. (I've only been sick once since then, with an ordinary virus.)
I'm not even sure it was the probiotic in my case, but I'd tried several medications at that point and nothing else had helped, so it was either that or a spontaneous remission.

I stopped the probiotic over a year ago. I even tried just taking the probiotic, and not the EpiCor. The EpiCor is the key for me personally. I have also told hundreds of people about it over the past couple years, and got them using it. Same story as me: no more illnesses.
