Immune Defense & positive blood test results

Original post in this thread

Hi ND team and u/misteryouaresodumb, a few months ago I started taking ND's Immune Defense. I also took two blood tests near the start and end of the bottle.

Interestingly, the scores on my WBC differential count improved quite significantly, especially with respect to lymphocytes (went from 2.5x10\^9 to 3.6x10\^9 per liter). I understand these include the NK cells, T cells and B cells.

This seems positive but can immunity be actually quantified by these numbers on a blood test? In any case, you guys are doing amazing work. Thank you for all that you do.

I bet everything you have done originated in your mind as a thought first, right?

Absolutely. I can't even begin to explain all the things I think about and analyze. My brain is constantly doing it. Sometimes it can be exhausting.

What's the best supplement / drug etc you have found for nerve damage, personally? Feel free to PM if required for that question.

Depends on the specific damage, and if you are talking about pain or regeneration. For regeneration specifically, NGF is the obvious target. So things that increase NGF are the ones to go for. If you want to stay on the natural supplement side, I would say lion's mane, polygala, huperzine-A, PQQ, astragalus, gotu kola, and maybe ALCAR. For peptides, the combo of BPC-157 and TB-500 is a good one. Semax increases NGF as well, and P21 hits CNTF. So that's a good combo.

Why isn't Lion's Mane suggested in ND stack recommendations for promoting neuroplasticity?

Replying to eamonn123 · What would be the best neuroplasticity stack in your opinion?

Ohh man, that's a tough one. Maybe lion's mane, 7,8-DHF, polygala, and surprisingly berberine. Then you are hitting NGF, BDNF, and sigma-1. The other one to target would be CNTF. I'd have to think about what supplement w

Replying to Muffinman392 · Thats cool af that you guys are making new molecules, the nootropics scene has been lacking in terms of innovation.

We created phenylpiracetam hydrazide back in the Ceretropic days. I found the research on piracetam hydrazide, and figured why not add a phenyl group? So we contracted a lab to make it for us. N-acetyl semax and N-acetyl

Replying to Chargers95 · CNTF is the growth factor key in the survival of new neurons, correct? Edit: it’d be interesting if you guys could find a natural product that could increase CNTF similarly to P21

Yes, CNTF is a crucial for the growth of astroglia. It's one of the critical neurotrophic factors in the brain. Many people focus on BDNF and NGF, but CNTF and GDNF are both crucial, too.

That doesn't look like a reliable vendor. There are no 3rd party labs giving them COAs for those products. They are just lying and hoping people won't call them out about it. Ask them for one of the 3rd party COAs, and s
