CNTF is the growth factor key in the survival of new neurons, correct?
Edit: it’d be interesting if you guys could find a natural product that could increase CNTF similarly to P21, semax, cerebrolysin - I’ve gotta think that the CNTF increase is what makes those peptides feel so different from something like 7,8DHF

Yes, CNTF is a crucial for the growth of astroglia. It's one of the critical neurotrophic factors in the brain. Many people focus on BDNF and NGF, but CNTF and GDNF are both crucial, too.
