Okay, that makes sense. Definitely not a good idea to modify the N-Terminus AA without evaluating it's kinetic affects first. I want to say that modifying the C-Terminus is not as beneficial, though? I need to go back through the studies and see what the findings were regarding a D-Linked AA for the C vs. N termini.
Good to know, thanks!

Semax's C-terminus ends with a proline. It's N-terminus is methionine. The standard method to protect the N-terminus is acetylation. No need to change the isomer of the methionine. If you find the studies where they modified the termini of ACTH frags, I would love to read them!
