I will see if I can find the paper and send it your way. I recall the one specifically mentions semax/Selank only had a small paragraph stating that using a D-isomer for the Terminus leads to a prolonged effect as your body is not as effective at breaking down D-AA. This paper is probably one you've already read though, but I'll send it just in case.
There was another one submitted through the ACS and went into detail about their findings on modification of C vs. N and which AA's had the most significant effect. This study has nothing to do with Semax/Selank, though. Unfortunately I cannot get access to the entire study through my institution, only the abstract for this one.

Boom baby: Behaviourably active ACTH analogues
They replaced the phenylalanine in the sequence with its D-isomer, not the methionine on the N-terminus. This was just for ACTH fragments. However, the info is interesting. Perhaps I will try a small synth of Semax with the phenylalanine substituted with the D-isomer.
