I'm a 50 year old male, in decent shape, slightly elevated cholesterol but no other major health issues, rarely drink, no recreational drug use. I recently became interested in Nootropics to combat anxiety, stress, and fatigue. Being a Lawyer I need every edge I can get in the day to day. So I read the Nootropic Blogs, watched dozens of videos and read hundreds of pages on this Reddit Feed. Having done the research I started taking the following (all of which I bought at Nootropics Depot). My first week I started taking Lion's Mane then introduced each Noot 1 by 1 every couple of days, then finally taking the following Stack over 3 weeks:
Lions Mane 500 mg - 1x/dayCDP Citicholine 250 mg - 1x/dayL-Theanine 200mg - 1x/dayRhodolea Rosea 500mg - 1x/dayOxiracetam 750mg - 1x/dayNoopept 10mg (caused brain fog after 3 days / discontinued)Fish Oil (daily)L-Tyrosine 500mg (caused brain fog after 2 days / discontinued)

The other day I read a review of someone who had to take her boyfriend to the ER after him having supplements from Nootropics Depot. I'm new to nootropics and just made my first order from the same place. I'm a little worried now.

Please link that review for me. We take adverse events seriously. There is nothing in our ticketing system regarding an adverse event like that. If it it was a real event, there should be an investigation opened into it. We will then file an adverse event report with the FDA, as all supplement companies are required to do, and open a full investigation into the possible causes. Furthermore, there is nothing in our ticketing system regarding this liver thing, either. The poster is a 17 day old account with no other history making big claims with no evidence. If these are real events, why has nobody reached out to my team regarding them? Why has nobody provided any evidence of the facts surrounding the supposed events? Contrary to the crazy claims out there, we are regulated by the FDA. We have requirements for documenting, investigating, and reporting adverse events to the FDA. Real events need to be reported to us with details to do that. Of course fake events meant to harm our reputation don't.
There is nothing you need to worry about. We have an in-house ISO certified analytical lab, and test everything to an insane level to ensure no customer ever gets a product that is anything but perfect. We go to great lengths to ensure that. If you have not already seen, we have a lab tour on the site that you can view. It goes through some educational aspects of what types of machines and testing are needed for quality control. It's super cool, if you are interested in that sort of thing.
