I'm a 50 year old male, in decent shape, slightly elevated cholesterol but no other major health issues, rarely drink, no recreational drug use. I recently became interested in Nootropics to combat anxiety, stress, and fatigue. Being a Lawyer I need every edge I can get in the day to day. So I read the Nootropic Blogs, watched dozens of videos and read hundreds of pages on this Reddit Feed. Having done the research I started taking the following (all of which I bought at Nootropics Depot). My first week I started taking Lion's Mane then introduced each Noot 1 by 1 every couple of days, then finally taking the following Stack over 3 weeks:

At around the 3 week mark, I developed pain and burning on my lower right side/flank which radiated into my back, and my belly and side became swollen. Found myself urinating every hour. Went to my Doc right away. He did blood work which showed increase liver enzymes. He the…

I'm the moderator he is insinuating is shilling here, even though I have pulled back from even really posting in this sub these days. So I highly doubt anything I say will change his mind. Everyone was just saying I was shilling here, so I made a new subreddit (/r/NootropicsDepot ) for our customers to post in to stop everyone claiming this sub was owned by me. Obviously it hasn't stopped the claims of shilling, though. No matter what I do people will claim I am shilling here. I could literally have a mental breakdown, go live on a deserted island with spider monkeys without internet, and 10 years later people would still claim I am shilling here. I've just accepted it now. I helped build this sub into what it is today, and helped bring the nootropics industry into a more modern, open, tested, and safe place than it was when I started. If that makes me a shill, so be it.
I was/am a nootropics enthusiast just like all you. In the early days I was just buying from the available vendors at the time. They were people running out of their living rooms with no lab testing or quality control of any kind. I got bags of racetams from vendors that were so impure they were almost dripping. I got mislabeled nootropics that were the complete wrong chemical, because no testing of any kind was being done. Multiple people went to the hospital because they ingested products they thought were something like piracetam or sulbutiamine, but were actually things like diphenhydramine. People literally died from mislabeled products in the early days. For anyone that was in nootropics back then, they can attest to how much better it is these days. It's night and day. The reason that has happened is because of the efforts myself, and a couple other people in the community, have put into advancing this community and this industry. I literally am one of the only people out there fighting for everyone here to ensure things are properly tested and that quality control systems are done in such a way that consumers don't have to worry about fake or contaminated product.
And honestly, if I was shilling and controlling this sub like people claim, would I not have removed this post before anyone even saw it? He's a 17 day old account with no post history other than these claims. I could have just as easily nuked this whole thread from the start. Nobody would have ever known. Yet we are here, and I am trying to respond to people in an open fashion. If I am a shill controlling this sub with an iron fist, I am doing a pretty shit job of it, wouldn't you say? I am somehow both all-controlling and silencing of dissent, yet also not able to remove posts and comments about us? I'm Schrodinger's shill mod. I remove all posts skeptical of us, yet somehow they still exist for everyone to see...
