I'm a 50 year old male, in decent shape, slightly elevated cholesterol but no other major health issues, rarely drink, no recreational drug use. I recently became interested in Nootropics to combat anxiety, stress, and fatigue. Being a Lawyer I need every edge I can get in the day to day. So I read the Nootropic Blogs, watched dozens of videos and read hundreds of pages on this Reddit Feed. Having done the research I started taking the following (all of which I bought at Nootropics Depot). My first week I started taking Lion's Mane then introduced each Noot 1 by 1 every couple of days, then finally taking the following Stack over 3 weeks:
Lions Mane 500 mg - 1x/dayCDP Citicholine 250 mg - 1x/dayL-Theanine 200mg - 1x/dayRhodolea Rosea 500mg - 1x/dayOxiracetam 750mg - 1x/dayNoopept 10mg (caused brain fog after 3 days / discontinued)Fish Oil (daily)L-Tyrosine 500mg (caused brain fog after 2 days / discontinued)

The timing is very suspicious. I'm curious if they think a specific nootropic caused the damage or if they suspect adulterants such as heavy metals or other. Noot Depot generally has a good reputation, but without regulation none are guaranteed safe and unadulterated.
Are they also working up other common causes like HBV?

We are absolutely regulated... That's the biggest myth out there. Dietary supplements are regulated like crazy in the US. We are FDA registered, and FDA inspectors come in and inspect our facility. If things are not up to FDA specs, they can and will shut us down. Our in-house analytical lab is also ISO 17025:2017 certified, and we had auditors look through every little process and document to ensure things were being done correctly. We just went through that multi-week audit a little over a month ago. Before that we had a multi-week GMP audit done at our facility as well. The FDA mandates how we have to document and label everything, and we can absolutely get in trouble if we do not follow those regulations. We test all our products to death. Every single batch of every single ingredient that enters our facility gets tested, not just for identity and purity, but for microbial contamination, heavy metals, and residual solvents. Moreover, we then also again test the finished goods to ensure they are in spec, and that the manufacturing process was successfully done to our specifications. We have thousands of tests, checks, and sign-offs that we do to ensure things are perfect every single time. There is nothing wrong with any of our products. I have spent millions of dollars and almost a decade of my life building a facility and team to ensure that. It really frustrates me when a 17 day old account can make big claims like this without any evidence, and now somehow the most likely explanation in people's minds is that it has to be our products are contaminated. The entire reason I started this company, here on Reddit no less, was to advance the purity standards and quality control of the industry.
