I'm a 50 year old male, in decent shape, slightly elevated cholesterol but no other major health issues, rarely drink, no recreational drug use. I recently became interested in Nootropics to combat anxiety, stress, and fatigue. Being a Lawyer I need every edge I can get in the day to day. So I read the Nootropic Blogs, watched dozens of videos and read hundreds of pages on this Reddit Feed. Having done the research I started taking the following (all of which I bought at Nootropics Depot). My first week I started taking Lion's Mane then introduced each Noot 1 by 1 every couple of days, then finally taking the following Stack over 3 weeks:
Lions Mane 500 mg - 1x/dayCDP Citicholine 250 mg - 1x/dayL-Theanine 200mg - 1x/dayRhodolea Rosea 500mg - 1x/dayOxiracetam 750mg - 1x/dayNoopept 10mg (caused brain fog after 3 days / discontinued)Fish Oil (daily)L-Tyrosine 500mg (caused brain fog after 2 days / discontinued)
At around the 3 week mark, I developed pain and burning on my lower right side/flank which radiated into my back, and my belly and side became swollen. Found myself urinating every hour. Went to my Doc right away. He did blood work which showed increase liver enzymes. He the…

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have nothing personal against your company and I made the comment out of my concerns. I meant the following review by Meghan M:
I don't want people to spread unnecessary fear as well. I appreciate the great customer service I have received so far from you. I got my products yesterday and I'll try them soon.

No worries! To start, we have no history of an order from a Meghan M around that time. Also, the compound she claims sent her boyfriend to the hospital, phenodrin, is not something that has ever even entered our facility. It's hard to even figure out what she means by that. I think there was a brand name acetaminophen called Phenodrin, but I don't think that was in the US. Some companies out there sell something called phenadren, which is a thermogenic product. However, who knows what this person is even talking about. There's no record of it being a real customer. There are no support tickets open for it. Nobody has ever officially reached out to my team about anything like it. There's certainly nothing in any of our products that is not on the label. Also, anyone can make a BBB review with literally zero evidence. I will see if I can get the BBB to investigate that one and remove it.
Fake reviews meant to harm us are nothing new. They happen all the time. Competitors even use shady tactics to try and get our products removed from Amazon or our site taken down. We had our NMN removed from Amazon because a competitor used an exploit in their systems to claim it contained cocaine... This caused Amazon to remove our product for months. The same thing happened with our lion's mane 8:1 on Amazon. It was down for almost 5 months because a competitor made false claims to take it down. We lost out on all those sales during that time, and no doubt whoever did it had their sales go up. To say it frustrates me doesn't even begin to explain it. The entire industry is full of shady people willing to do anything they can to get ahead. If there are legitimate adverse reactions to our products, I absolutely will address them to the fullest extent possible. However, since I started the company in 2013, there have been ZERO serious adverse events legitimately reported or filed for any of our products. Not a single one. We are in the millions of orders processed now. If someone has a legitimate adverse reaction that they will report to us with details, we will absolutely open an investigation and do all FDA reporting requirements mandated under the regulations. It's just never happened before. It's anonymous posts from random users on the internet without any followup or evidence.
