I've actually heard the opposite from many people. They say that shrooms can be a more intense and difficult trip, and can lead to pronounced HPPD symptoms. Whereas LSD usually provides a more controllable and pleasant trip. It seems to be a 50/50 split between users. Everyone is different, and the dopamine affinity that LSD possesses can affect the trip in different ways, depending on the person.
Also, LSD has studies behind it showing that it can help cure alcoholism when used in an therapeutic environment. It has a use, and should not be excluded because some people feel the need to thumbprint.
Again, I have tried neither so far, so I can only go on the countless anecdotes that I have read, and the people I have spoken to. I hope to try shrooms in the next few months, though.
And I am not saying you are being hypocritical. I am saying that a law that allows shrooms and disallows other 5-HT2 agonists like LSD, Mescaline, and DMT would be hypocritical.
