A bit of anecdotal evidence but from what I've heard from soldiers (close friends and family who were in the military) typically get a pass on that. Most bartenders look the other way because if you're in the military you probably need a damn drink.

This is a big problem I am seeing with people new to nootropics. They want to immediately jump into a stack, and do not want to put in the time to try thing by themselves, and see how each one affects them in isolation.
