The time has finally come to launch our nootropics site! For those of you that don’t know, a fellow Redditor, /u/guacamolium, approached me a while back. He was interested in starting a nootropics vendor, and thought partnering with me would be a good fit. We pretty much always agreed with each other when speaking on this forum, and had similar visions for what we wanted in a vendor. So after many long discussions, we decided to go into business together. After much preparation, and many unforeseen bumps, we are ready to launch!
Our initial goal is going to be filling a part of the market that does not exist yet: nootropics in sublingual dropper vials. Many people always ask if they need a scale to be accurate, or how to conveniently and quickly capsule nootropics with accuracy. As many of you know, there really is no way to do that without a scale and time. For a lot of you, that’s not something high on the list of things you want to do. Enter sublingual dropper vials.
Over the years, I’ve taken a few supplements in dropper vials; and loved how easy it was to dose and be done with it. The main one I’ve always used was sublingual B vitamins. The ability to just wake up, grab the vial, then dose whatever amount you want without having to use a scale, is very convenient. Pair that with the fact that many nootropics are more effective when dosed sublingually and you not only have convenience, but efficacy.
Initially we are going to be releasing 4 different products: coluracetam, noopept, adrafinil, and a 1:1 mixture of caffeine/L-theanine. Yes, our initial stock of coluracetam is very limited, and will most likely sell out quickly. However, we were just informed that we may be able to restock very soon. So even if you do not get in on this initial batch, we will have more for you as quickly as possible. We are also going to be leading the way into testing, by having an NMR analysis of coluracetam done, and a reference sample created. Currently there is no reference standard for coluracetam, so purity testing is nonexistent. However, we are going to change that.
I know the coluracetam is going to steal the thunder initially, but I think our caffeine/L-theanine mixture is something everyone will be interested in. Waking up and not having to measure two separate powders, then mix them into your drink, or encapsulate them, is so convenient! Initially we are going to be offering a 1:1 mixture. However, if there is enough demand we can offer different ones as well. Just let us know and we will take it into consideration.
Apart from those offerings, we are going to be releasing new nootropics into the market. If there is enough demand, we are going to get custom synths of things like GLYX-13 and IDRA-21. On top of that, we have ideas about new nootropics molecules that have never even been synthesized before. From what we know about receptor affinities, and with the collective knowledge of myself and Jason, we have some VERY interesting ideas that we want to bring to the market. We want to really advance the nootropics community, not just profit off of it as seems to be the case with some other vendors. Because of this, we are initially going to be reinvesting 100% of the profits back into the company, to get new molecules synthesized, and streamline the ordering process. I’ve been on the sidelines of the nootropics community for too long, and watched as vendors made one wrong move after another. I started my push to be more active with the /r/nootropics testing plan. Now I want to take it a step further and drive it from the supply side.
Initially we are enabled to accept Paypal and payments from Amazon Flexible Payment System. We will be adding in direct card processing soon. The reason that has not already happened is we have already lost two payment processors before launch. Nootropics are not something financial processors want to deal with, so it’s been a challenge. I apologize in advance for this. Also, we are currently limited to the United States only. Hopefully we can get international shipments going soon.
