I was shot in the middle finger, ring finger, and leg. The only thing that needed any kind of surgery was my middle finger. A titanium plate replaced my middle joint on the middle finger. Total hospital charges? 250,000
Don't underestimate how much things can cost at the hospital.

That's insane! Where was this? My sister had a brain tumor and had the front of her skull replaced with a titanium mesh. She was in and out of the hospital for over a year. Her total bill was around $750,000. This was in Denver. How could cost vary so wildly?
