I was in for 6 last year and it came out to $20,000. But that is because they ran a bunch of unnecessary tests that I disputed and lost against. $17 million is a hell of a lot of tests!

Yes, I'm from the US. I know it's crazy high, but $17 million seems out of this world. I have never heard even close to that number, and my little sister was in and out of the hospital for over a year with a brain tumor

Do you have a source for that? I was taken in an ambulance last year to the hospital after crashing my ATV in the sand dunes. The bill was $1,200 for the ambulance. the hospital bill was around $18K. $50K for a dead man
