Wait, so I'm a little confused-- Erinamax is identical to the Taiwanese extract, which caused dysphoria? Surprising, as that was not my experience with it.

No, the extract I was using was made from the Taiwanese material where we were unknowingly destroying the erinacine A in the extraction process. It actually led us to understand the stability of the molecule better. Grape King Bio in Taiwan had their interest spurred when they saw the first paper on liquid culture lion's mane producing erinacine A back in like 2005. That paper was written by Wojciech Krzyczkowski. That's the polish scientist who did his PhD on erinacine A. We collaborated with Wojciech, and had him fly out to our lab in Arizona multiple times to work on creating eriancine A with us. I actually built out our mushroom lab based on Wojciech's suggestions, so he had a place to work. He worked with my scientific team to first isolate erinacine A. The people at Grape King started their research off of Wojciech's work, and when they heard we were working with him, opened up lines of communication with us. They initially sent us some powder, which we extracted and analyzed in our lab. At the time, we had not proven the thermal stability of erinacine A. This meant that our sample prep that sonicated the sample in 100*C ethanol was destroying the erinacine A without us knowing it. This is what led to me thinking they didn't actually produce it. However, after we got more comfortable with each other, and decided to partner on our efforts, they worked with us to figure out why we were not finding erinacine A in their sample. This led us to partnering with them on the production of Erinamax. They had the production facility and already solved the scaling issue, so there was no reason for us to reinvent the wheel. We decided to just work with Grape King and have them help us to release an erinacine A lion's mane.
Currently, we are the exclusive distributors for Grape King in North America, and they produce all of our Erinamax for us in Taiwan. I had a call with their chairman a few nights ago about the possibility of us collaborating on a US production facility, but for now it is all made at their facility in Taiwan. Our two scientific teams collaborate on science, and we work together on ingredients outside of lion's mane as well. They are who make our upcoming mushroom that hits myostatin, for example. They are also one of the largest probiotics manufacturers in the world, so they will be the one producing our probiotic strains for us. I can honestly say they are one of the only companies in the world that I trust enough to produce things for us without worrying about quality. I have never been as impressed with a facility as I was with theirs, and their scientific team is top notch. I am glad we decided to partner with them years back.
