Noopept: Distinct difference in taste between Ceretropic and Powder City.

Original post in this thread

I have noopept from both Ceretropic (W0713) and Powder City (150219), both purchased this spring. The Powder City version is more granular and metallic, like tianeptine, while the Ceretropic version is fluffy and has a kind of alkaline, detergent-like note, but still bitter.

Is this normal? Has anyone else tried both and can compare the effects/taste? I'm wondering if I'm getting different chemicals here.

Thanks, yeah that pretty much describes Ceretropic's, though my sense of smell is not any good so I can't confirm the smell.

Is there any explaining the difference in taste, like maybe different labs using different solvents? I trust both companies, so I'm just kind of scratching my head. Ceretropic's definitely seems fluffier than Powder City's, so maybe the texture affects the taste (more molecule surface or something).

I guess what would really help is a second or third person who has both brands and can weigh in here.

Fluffy powder is the standard for Noopept for years. Even Powder City's other batches were the same. This is the first time I have heard of granular Noopept. I would have to run some testing on a sample to know for sure.
