I thought this would be an interesting thing to share. Unsure if stacking Fucoidans and anthocyanins confer any similar benefit or not, but this could be an interesting product type to look into. Curious on its modulation of SIRT6 considering the affinity both Fucoidans and Anthocyanins have for it.
“Abstract
Anthocyanins, commonly extracted from aronia, exhibit excellent in antioxidant activity and anti-cancer activity. However, anthocyanins are not only easily oxidized in water but also rapidly disappear from the body, thus requiring a large amount of administration. To solve these limitations, we selected fucoidan, an anionic polymer, to produce an anthocyanin-fucoidan nanocomplex (AFNC) with enhanced absorption and chemical stability by ionic bonding and π-π stacking between anthocyanins. In vitro, AFNC showed increased cell permeability absorption and plasma chemical stability than free anthocyanins. AFNC suppressed the epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) signal including IκBα/NF-κB signaling pathway and the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. In vivo, AFNC exhibited 3.24-fold higher bioavailability than free anthocyanin in rats. AFNC effectively suppressed the gene…

This study also confirmed fucoidan as the main active compounds for SIRT6 activation

Do Not Age sell a SIRT6 activator which is a fucoidan extract- it's pretty expensive. 400mg per capsule and they recommend 1,600mg per day for most people (dosage based on weight: 60 to 100kg) and 60 capsule bottle is $97. I have no idea if they marked the product up significantly or if it genuinely costs that much but it would be interesting to see ND sell a cheaper product (if possible)

That product is the most ridiculous labeling... So it's 400mg of "SIRT6 Activator®." What is SIRT6 Activator®? What's the species and plant part? It says in parentheses (fucoidan). Are they saying it is 400mg of fucoidan? What is fucoidan, in their understanding of it? Where is the testing to show it even is fucoidan, much less has 400mg? One of their images has Fucus vesiculosus in it. Is that the species they are using? Why is that not on the Supplement Facts? That's an FDA requirement. Species and plant part needs to be in the Supplement Facts box.
You also can't fucking trademark "SIRT6 Activator®." That's a descriptive name, which is not unique, per the USPTO. They are trying to trick people into thinking they got a registered trademark for that as a standard character mark, but they didn't.
The trademark is for those words with their double helix logo, not the words. It's an illustration mark, not character mark.
They say "Pure ingredients, scientifically verified & rigorously tested" but don't have any of that testing or data to show anyone.
DoNotAge.org is a Health Research Organisation, not a supplement brand. Every ingredient we use is researched, tested, and validated in-house — ensuring scientific accuracy, clinical relevance, and unmatched purity. We don’t rely on supplier claims. We set the standard.
Off fuck off! Health research organization. Please... Where is even the COA or lab testing, much less published scientific data in a peer-reviewed journal?
So all the profits go to research, and they are investing in cutting edge human studies. AWESOME! Can I see those? Can we have a link to them? Nothing on the site links anywhere. It's all words. All talk and no substance. SHOW ME THE MONEY!
