Man you guys are really working on cool stuff these days.

Sounds like time for a blog post on isoliquiritigenin haha!

Some more questions if you don't mind!

1. What are your favorite pairings?
2. How long do the effects last?
3. Would you say the MAOI effects are more on the stronger side like Rhodiola or more subtle like Polygala? I'm mainly asking because I get stimulated quite easily and also want to avoid potential (strong) interactions.

Bonus question: how do you think the isoliquiritigenin would pair with Panax Ginseng + Ashwagandha in the morning/early afternoon?

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb · ND Owner

1) I like to pair it with GABA, Baikal skullcap, and Sibelius sage.

2) I notice it for 3-5 hours.

3) I do think it has the potential for potentiating stronger stimulants, but it also has a calming effect with the GABA affinities. It's hard to say without trying the specific combination.

It does pair well with both, as I have paired them together many times! I always do it around midday.

Semax

Replying to alwaysandeverywhere · I really appreciate you weighing in! I hoped you would. Thank you for taking the time to break all that down. I understand that the current environment makes it impossible for you

Mostly novel botanical extracts, and quantifying actives in things to a much higher standard. So rather than just standardizing to 5% withanolides, we will separate and quantify each withanolide. They all do different th

What mood boosters ACTUALLY work out there?

It's going to depend on the person. What works best for one person might do nothing for you, or have side effects. We like to talk in generalities, but people's brain chemistries vary a lot more than most realize. So fin

Consumerlab report on Chocamine

Replying to Mojowhale · thank you for your answer! appreciated

No problem! Why ConsumerLab decided to test our product for something it is not even standardized to, then not test everyone else for the stuff we are standardized to, is beyond me. Why not test everyone for theobromine

Amycenone in Lionsmane(8:1)

Amycenone is a made up trademarked name. It doesn't actually mean anything. Only the people that trademarked the name can use it, just like only we can use PanaMAX. It would be silly for me to ask if our competitor's *Pa

Lions mane 8:1 extract on amazon has an F on fakespot. Why?

Replying to Fakespot · We can see why this thread would gain a lot of attention due to the F grade for an ND product. Before I dive into the grading, let's talk about the grade itself and what it means.

Hey, Fakespot! Didn't expect that. I am going to forewarn you, this will be a long one. I am going to go into a lot of detail, and I am going to pepper sarcasm and criticism in along the way. Just be prepared (peppered?)
