Does chamomile tea work better than melatonin for anyone else?

I drank a cup of chamomile tea last night and it knocked me out and I didn’t have the awful effects of melatonin like next day grogginess (I get this even when I split my 1 mg pill in thirds). It’s weird because I’d never think an herbal tea would be more effective than a well known sleep aid

Been going to bed at 8am and waking up at ~6pm lately. High dose melatonin, hesperidin, mag threonate (just ran out), mag glycinate, magnolia bark, lemon balm, NAC, andrographis milk thistle 200, acerelo cherry for vit C, immune defense, quercitin occasionally rephyll, is my sleep stack.
Then when I wake up, Immuse, Berberine, hesperidin again, optimALA, COQ-Sol-CF, emoxypine, Circumin+piperine, fish oil / k2 / d3. Eat at 8pm-11pm roughly. Fast the whole morning whilst working / working out / meditating. If I feel OK, somewhere in the middle of that I will pop the BDNF stuff, lion's mane, polygala, etc.
This is a winter thing. I thought it was caused by SAD but thanks to polygala I no longer get depressed, but my sleep cycle reverses completely.

Wow, that's a big shift. Glad you are keeping it under control with your stack. That will wreak havoc on most people.
