u/MisterYouAreSoDumb and u/Pretty-Chill, what have been your experiences so far with Tiger Milk Mushroom? Given its rarity, there is little knowledge on this one. Additionally, could this replace Lions Mane for its NGF benefits, or would you say it's better to take both together?

The most immediate effect I notice is an improvement in breathing and a reduction in inflammation. It's pretty noticeable. There is some mild stimulation, and a cognitive/mood effect that is hard to put your finger on. It's unique because it is hitting TrkA. I am used to things hitting TrkB, like 7,8-DHF, polygala, lion's mane, etc. It's really great before strenuous exercise, as the breathing improvements and improved blood oxygenation is really helpful. I also combined it with cyanidin-3-glucoside a few times, and that was really beneficial to energy and exercise performance. Combining it with lion's mane and 7,8-DHF kicks the cognitive side up a notch, too.

What mood boosters ACTUALLY work out there?

It's going to depend on the person. What works best for one person might do nothing for you, or have side effects. We like to talk in generalities, but people's brain chemistries vary a lot more than most realize. So fin

Replying to usrnmz · Awesome! Any experience report on the Isoliquiritigenin? It sounds like a really cool one! How do the different mechanisms compare in strength? Is it mainly GABA? Or quite balanc

Emiel talked about it on this other comment. https://www.reddit.com/r/NootropicsDepot/comments/15b7p3g/question_about_the_new_licorice_extract/jtoyydo/ I've actually used isoliquiritigenin regularly for a very long tim

7, 8-Dihydroxyflavone WTF

Replying to Due_Following_4742 · I saw another commenter mention a correlation between BDNF and brain cancer, is this something to take seriously? I’ve cycled 7,8 dhf, polygala, Lions Mane at recommended doses.

BDNF is a growth factor, so it being correlated with cancer makes sense. That doesn't mean it is a causative factor. Cancer is out of control growth of mutated cells. They are still cells, though. So things that help the

Amycenone in Lionsmane(8:1)

Amycenone is a made up trademarked name. It doesn't actually mean anything. Only the people that trademarked the name can use it, just like only we can use PanaMAX. It would be silly for me to ask if our competitor's *Pa
