Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know I left a negative review on a product on Nootropics Depot 1-2 months ago now and it hasn't been published. There have been reviews published since then as well. Just want to put this out there for anyone looking at products off the site because they all usually have 5 star ratings.
Also, this was not just a negative review because it didn't work for me but because the product became completely unusable in my 'climate' and there was no warning on the website or on the packaging.
Edit: I have answered most questions in the comments so make sure to read them for more information.

Doesn't it make sense to just disable the commenting part of the rating? Seems like a lot of effort for something that most people might never use.

We can't disable the comment section. Either we disable reviews altogether, or we get both the star and the comment part. We actually disabled product reviews altogether on Ceretropic. However, Google uses that as part of rankings now, so we would be screwed with them fully disabled. We have many more natural products than synthetics. The issue is the synthetics and with people talking about diseases. I have to go in and manually edit every review to reword/remove disease claims. Saying: "This product cured my anxiety!" is not allowed. However "This product cured my stress!" is fine. Anxiety is a disease. Stress is not. ADHD is a disease. Attention issues is not. It's fucking stupid, but those small distinctions make a difference in a legal sense.
