Can Berberine Cause Hypoglycemia?
Original post in this thread

I usually only take berberine before a carb-containing meal, however, today I took some upon waking and then ate a steak.
The whole morning I felt like I could fall asleep at any second. Brain fog. Weak muscles. Absolutely CRAVING food and sugar. Seemed like hypoglycemia.
Can this happen to someone like me who is NOT diabetic, in shape, eats clean, sleeps well?

Do you take all of those? What do you think works best with IF in order to prolong the fast? I'm trying to avoid caffeine. I did a test where I didn't take your berberine yesterday, was able to fast until 2pm. I woke up at 9 30 today, took 250mg berberine with my morning stack. It's about noon right now and I'm starving. Idk why it has such opposite effects on different people. Mind sharing your morning fasting stack and eating schedule?

In the mornings I take berberine, tongkat ali, CoQSol-CF, EGCG, hesperidin, OptimALA, and ALCAR if I want to help make the fast work better. Remember, getting to the point where you are not hungry anymore takes time. I did not just right there, even with supplements. It took a good 6 months to get to the level I am at now. It's 7:19pm here, and I literally am not hungry. I'll eat here in a minute, and as I am preparing the food I will get hungry. However, my body has leveled out is ghrelin response because I have done IF for so long. It was NOT like that in the beginning. I had to push through the hunger, and it did suck.
