Can Berberine Cause Hypoglycemia?
Original post in this thread

I usually only take berberine before a carb-containing meal, however, today I took some upon waking and then ate a steak.
The whole morning I felt like I could fall asleep at any second. Brain fog. Weak muscles. Absolutely CRAVING food and sugar. Seemed like hypoglycemia.
Can this happen to someone like me who is NOT diabetic, in shape, eats clean, sleeps well?

I'm one of those people. I'm not diabetic nor pre-diabetic (I was at one point pre) and my normalized blood sugar range sits just above hypo levels. So even NA-R-ALA fasted can push me into hypo. I also gotta be more careful with sugar because I get the peak into below hyper but the trough puts me into hypo :/ It's genetic, my father gets hypos just after a long walk but he doesn't do IF like I do, he's stuck in the silly pyramid food mindset.
He also wouldn't take the Immune Defense I got for him when he got the flu either :(

The food pyramid is such a crock of shit.
