I don't want to sound like a romantic, but you are a very clever fellow. One of the smartest I've met. The detail you generally offer when answering questions is as astounding as the breadth of things you seem to understand to such detail.
Have you ever considered how this condition might have influenced the overall outcome of your intelligence quotient, or how you respond to nootropics? I sometimes wonder about this regarding my condition, Raynauds. Raynauds is a disorder that affects the adrenal system, which I believe is in part why I respond so strongly to neurogenic substances.
I'm seeing research connecting histamine and neurogenesis (although it seems like one side or the other of every spectrum of biochemistry will lead to neurogenesis). I could see it affecting inflammation in ways that might have augmented development with the proper input from one's environment.

Yeah, I have talked about it multiple times before on here. I certainly think histamine is playing a role in my cognition in some fashion. I have not been able to make any definitive links, but there are a lot of curious correlations between what I perceive as the time period when my cognition started speeding up, and when my histamine issues started getting worse. It's been something I come back to from time to time, and think about. The main constant in my life for the past 16 years or so is cetirizine. There have been some studies on the long-term use of cetirizine in children, and they found there were no differences between it and placebo. However, my usage spans a lot longer, and begins in the middle of adolescence, then extends into adulthood, and my dosage is much higher than most. I wonder if there is some compensatory mechanism at play.
