Whenever I get the Nootropics Depot newsletter I get all giddy, and my wallet runs in fear.
First off is a new Bacopa extract called Synapsa. Does anybody here have experience with both Synapsa AND Bacognize? I like Bacopa, but ultimately discontinued after 5 months due to lethargy and brain fog. Hoping someone can corroborate what I've read: that Synapsa is a bit more stimulating.
Second question is directed primarily at u/MisterYouAreSoDumb, but I think others will wonder the same. Cordyceps 10:1 extract from Nammex was also released today, with 20% beta glucans and 0.3% cordycepin by HPLC. Upon checking the original Cordyceps page, I see that it, too has 0.3% cordycepin, but 30% beta glucans. It would appear that the original is more potent-- is this true?
All input on both questions welcome.

Hey MYASD, I'm about to buy one of Bacognize or Synapsa from you. Which would you recommend? Synapsa is a fair bit more expensive, but I'm interested in the memory-promoting effects. I'm not sure if one of them would be better for it, and I can't find much about it online as it seems that Synapsa is fairly new.
Also, I recently made a post about this, but this dopamine business - is there any chance that bacopa would increase one's tolerance to caffeine, or aid in caffeine-induced insomnia (I can't sleep from even mild amounts of caffeine past 11am or so, but I love caffeine)?

I'd recommend the Synapsa at the moment, as I am getting better effects from it. I think those that are natural over-stimulated will prefer the Bacognize, and those that naturally need stimulating compounds will prefer the Synapsa.
Bacopa prevents dopamine spikes in the striatum. As such, it may actually lower caffeine tolerance.
