New Products at Nootropics Depot

Whenever I get the Nootropics Depot newsletter I get all giddy, and my wallet runs in fear.

First off is a new Bacopa extract called Synapsa. Does anybody here have experience with both Synapsa AND Bacognize? I like Bacopa, but ultimately discontinued after 5 months due to lethargy and brain fog. Hoping someone can corroborate what I've read: that Synapsa is a bit more stimulating.

Second question is directed primarily at u/MisterYouAreSoDumb, but I think others will wonder the same. Cordyceps 10:1 extract from Nammex was also released today, with 20% beta glucans and 0.3% cordycepin by HPLC. Upon checking the original Cordyceps page, I see that it, too has 0.3% cordycepin, but 30% beta glucans. It would appear that the original is more potent-- is this true?

All input on both questions welcome.

How is Cordyceps and tolerance? I mean do you become tolerant as you use it longer and longer? What kind of breaks are recommended?

Thanks.

I don't really notice a tolerance. I take it daily, and get good energy and focus boosts with it. I usually cycle off for a few days every couple weeks, though.

Paul Stamets (host defence) on the use of mycelium on grain.

Replying to thedeathlessrealm · I think people on this reddit are a bit bias towards fruiting body because of nootropics depot. Here are studies showing activity of medicinal mushrooms grown on brown rice: Hasna

Real Mushrooms was bringing it up before I was, and many people actually look into the science behind things and come to similar conclusions. I think it's pretty reductionist to say that people here only parrot around wh

Why cordyceps from Nootropic Depot looks different?

Our 10:1 Cordyceps extract has no carriers, and is very hygroscopic. It pulls moisture from the air like crazy. It's pretty much at the upper limit for how much you can concentrate Cordyceps. So that's what you are seein
