Modafinil Dosing

I started on Modafinil on Wed for chronic fatigue / lack of motivation / general sleepiness due to an unknown cause. My doctor didn't know the medication really at all so prescribed 200mg daily. The pharmacist didn't seem to know much about it either. I have taken it for three days and while I am more awake the effects have been very subtle. Certainly no waves of energy, focus or productivity. I noticed on here that some people take 50 mg or 100 mg. I am planning to experiment with dosages a bit but I am interested if any information related to dosages. Is it possible it would be just as effective or more effective at a lower dose? Does that fact I have had minimal response likely mean that is all I will get regardless of dose?

No, I am an education and certification consultant. I work with various industries to create training and certification programs. I just finished a few SAP certification programs, and am now working on aerospace and defense. I started out in telecommunications. After shifting focus toward education and training in the telecommunications space, I expanded to other industries.

Good to know. I get histamine responses from being out in the cold, or just sitting doing nothing. So me having a histamine response is not indicative of the general population.
