But yes, it stacks well with caffeine. I don't find ginkgo to be too effective, so I don't ever supplement with it. The caffeine can help balance out the tired feeling that bacopa can sometimes bring.

Are you suggesting that caffeine's main benefit is increased dopamine? Caffeine's effects are andenosine mediated, which affects many systems. The wakefulness from caffeine does not come from DA spikes, so bacopa is not

Bacopa take a while to kick in for the memory enhancing effects. However, you will notice the reduction in stress fairly quickly.

I take 250mg of extract, twice per day. That works well. The biggest side effect is a little tired feeling when you first start. That is why caffeine goes well with it. It balances out the tiredness.
