Well, lots of people in modern age weren't/aren't exposed to that either. Go back a couple of hundred years and you'll se that the majority of people got more or less the same exposure as people did 10000 years ago.

True. I was not speaking to averages. We have access to it now, so we have the ability for that stimulation. That does not mean that everyone will be exposed. My point was more that the ability for a human brain to develop is much more efficient now, given our knowledge and access to information. This leads to lasting structural changes in the adult brain, which allows them to have a higher cognitive ability than our prehistoric counterparts.
