TMJ after MDMA use?
Original post in this thread

So I've used MDMA/XTC 5 - 6 times in a little less than a year and lately my jaw sometimes locks up a bit or even almost pops out. I'm not entirely sure if I had the same problems before I started using but I was thinking the jaw clenching could have triggered/worsened my problems.
Last few times I rolled I did take magnesium/zinc/calcium to help with clenching and to alleviate some tourette's symptoms.
Can you get TMJ through drug use?

I do research a lot too but it did't occur to me that there could be different types of magnesium supplements.

It has to do with magnesium being a substance that readily binds with insoluble salts in our intestines. So chelating it to another soluble amino acid prevents that, as well as delivering another useful substance to the body. Most of the supplements people take are poorly absorbed. You would be surprised at the difference a good supplement can make over a seemingly good store bought one. It can tire you out with all the research one has to do. I find that Doctors Best brand does a good job of researching the various supplements bioavailabilities and making a good product, whatever that supplement may be.
