Thanks a lot for your update. So I learn that the Maca on the market is just...not Maca at all. Wonder why some people claim effect from Maca team product.

So what happened is actually crazier than I even let on. So maca is a protected thing in Peru. The Peruvian government actually prevents people from taking seed and plants out of Peru, as they see maca as a traditional medicine there that they think they should be kept sacred and under their control. It's kind of like how France protects the term "Champagne," but Peru tries to protect the plant itself and keep it exclusive to Peru. Well China isn't about that shit. They actually sent spies to Peru to steal maca plants to cultivate in China. Then they did a bunch of research on improving the macamide yields. They were successful in starting maca cultivation in China, and now have a ton of maca cultivation there. However, we are finding that perhaps they messed up on their analytical work, or maybe they got lucky on one small batch during the research, but have failed to scale that up to production sizes efficiently. Whatever the reason is, it seems they smuggled maca out of Peru and missed something with the process. I think this cheap Chinese stuff is flooding the market now, and it is not the same quality as the traditional stuff in Peru. I do think there is quality stuff from Peru, but it is harder to find with the Chinese stuff flooding the market now. This is why I am not giving up. I know there is good maca out there. We just need to build direct relationships with people in Peru to get it, I think.
