Dopamine synthesis without using a dopamine releasing agent?

Nothin' for dopamine synthesis though? What's your personal take on my idea that dopamine synthesis is more sustainable than reuptake inhibitor or agonist?
Also I read cocaine upregulates dopamine receptors lol. Is this true? Someone told me to chew on coca leaves and I said hell no but shit maybe they were right if that's the case lmao

Other than L-tyrosine or L-DOPA, not really. You could just try up-regulating tyrosine hydroxylase. It looks like low dose aspirin does that. I will have to research it a bit more.

Yes, that's absolutely true. Naturally increasing dopamine is more sustainable than using a DRI or direct agonist. Those two will always lead to a stronger homeostatic rebound effect, which results in internalization of the DA receptors in response.

It's very complex. It is not acting in the way you think, though. Cocaine will not sensitized you to DA. Quite the opposite.

It is kind of funny, because there is one study showing that repeated cocaine use, followed by discontinuation and withdrawal, protected against MDMA-induced DA toxicity.
