How safe is palmitoylethanolamide(PEA)?

I recently ordered some PEA and it just arrived in the mail today. I was doing a bit of extra research and came across a Reddit thread that had a user asking about whether there was any risk with PEA because it is a COX2 inhibitor. They were asking about whether it could cause a vascular event because of this. Is it safe for me to take PEA?

I sourced the OEA from science.bio. Is there any reason to do both if PEA covers the PPAR functions of OEA? I ask because OEA costs a good bit more, also, if they are paired would they still need to be at the recommended amounts or could one half both, or all three, be 1/2 dosed?

Without having taken OEA myself, I can't say for sure. I will say PEA on paper is better than OEA. So if I was going to take one, it would be PEA.
