Any Plans for Optimized D3?

Does D3 benefit from a specialized delivery, or a particular type of lipid? Seems to be especially synergistic with chocolate.

My thinking exactly. I’m getting tired of working so hard to find effective products—even USP and NSF certified aren’t proving that great. Even if I find a good brand, after a year or two they “rebrand” which is usually cover for reducing quality. What D3 do you take?

Currently I am using Solaray D3 and MQ-7.
USP and NSF are all about processes and documentation, not science. We are getting ready for NSF certification right now. So we are going through all the requirements. All of them are pretty much just enhancements on GMP with extra processes and documentation. They don't assess the scientific validity of your testing or product efficacy. As long as you document what you are doing for testing, it could be total bullshit. They don't care about that. They care that you put a process into place and are documenting things to a high level. This is pretty much how all regulators are. They are not scientists. Finding the answers to some of these problems takes curiosity, dedication, and perseverance. You are not usually rewarded for those in a monetary fashion, though. In fact, it increases your costs without increasing your revenues. So pretty much all companies don't do it. They do what they need to do to comply with the letter of the regulations, and nothing more. I am in this for a lot bigger reasons than most, though. So I spend the time and money to try and figure these things out, because I want to know the answers, and I want to be the best. If one batch of adrafinil is white and another pink, I want to know why. If someone says one works better than another, but all analytical tests show they are identical, I want to figure out the reason.
I have been working on this adrafinil thing for literally years now. We are very close to finding the answer, and I think I actually know it now. However, we have reached a point that no labs in the world can help us with. We are in more of a material sciences area now. I think the differences come down to polymorphisms and crystalline structure vs. amorphous solids. We've already determined the color difference is due to iron and sodium differences. The pink has more iron, the white has more sodium. This is likely due to two divergent final purification steps. The only people in the world qualified to help us on the polymorphism thing are pharma companies, as they make a big deal about that. However, they all keep those things as trade secrets. So we are trying to do it ourselves. This requires X-ray crystallography, and is very complex. So I am very very close, but we are in uncharted territory. I doubt anyone else in the world is trying to solve this issue, but I set out to figure it out years ago, and I am going to do it if it kills me! LOL
