Regulatory changes in China.

Will the new regulatory changes in China have any effect on the availability of Nootropics Depots stocks? I know that certain compounds like phenylpiracetam are going to be illegal to produce there. Will this effect the supply of many of the synthesized compounds that are offered?

Phenylpiracetam, adrafinil, and centrophenoxine are the ones that will go away January 1st. No question, they are done in China. Don't worry, though. We knew about all this months ago, and have been buying up all the remaining available stock around the world for some time. So we are not going to run out of stock for a while. I would imagine many other vendors will run out soon, though. I think we bought it all. LOL.
We actually bought up whole synths of it, and had the labs set everything to our specifications. Since we were buying the whole yield, they were willing to change their synthesis and purification methods to exactly how we wanted it. We are doing that more and more with patented products as well. We are starting to have the patent holders make special specs just for us. We usually set very tight specs on heavy metals and residual solvents, which are tighter than the standard ones. So now that we have the buying power, we are having them do special specs that they only supply to us. So some of the patented products we sell will be special lots just for us at ND that have lower heavy metal and residual solvent limits.
As for availability going forward, don't worry. We spend a lot of effort ensuring our supply chain can handle things like this. So we should be good. If demand doubles because everyone runs out, but we still have it, then we might have to scramble a bit. However, we have prepared for different scenarios. If it quadruples, then we might have a problem. I can't predict how well our competition prepared; but based on past experiences... probably not well. So I am betting most will run out of stock over the next few months. The only way we were able to prepare for this was spending a LOT of money buying entire synths before the labs shut down. I spent almost a million dollars preparing for this, which I highly doubt anyone else in the space did. So time will tell, but I would assume you are going to see them going out of stock all over the place very soon.
