Does D3 benefit from a specialized delivery, or a particular type of lipid? Seems to be especially synergistic with chocolate.

This study (2015 - French universities) has been performed on mice but is interesting:
Fat-soluble vitamin intestinal absorption: absorption sites in the intestine and interactions for absorption.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25442537
In the full text (available on sci-hub) they mention:
Finally, all the FSVs significantly decreased vitamin K uptake (from-34% to -58%,Fig. 2D)
and
Similarly, vitamin D significantly reduced vitamin K uptake in a dose-dependent manner up to -58%. No data in the literature can explain this result but we suppose that vitamins D and K also share common uptake pathways.

Interesting! I had not seen that study. I wish there were more than 2-3 sentences talking about the interaction, though... What you quotes is literally all they talk about for that particular interaction. It would be interesting to see if this has any significant effect on supplemental levels in humans. They used MK-4 in the study as well, not MK-7. There seems to be big differences in the isoprene units affecting pharmacolkinetics.
