Synapsa Is Amazing but those GI Issues...Advice?

Original post in this thread

So I'll start off by saying Synapsa has been a great supplement for myself. I've used the Monnieri brand in the past and that came with depression and lethargy.

However, the Synapsa brand noticeable changes my mood, it makes me more calm and collected and I dosed 300mg for 2 weeks before stopping due to stomach pains. But they were horrible and out of the norm and my bowel movements were painful as well.

I stopped dosing but was wondering if there is anything I can do to offset. I know some users reported these issues but they went away but not for myself. Dosed at night, in the mornings, or even with food. Any help?

Edit: Started taking a probiotic called VSL3 and these issues are not happening anymore. Thanks everyone!!

Actually I just started with the Shiitake and Turkey Tail recently to beat some symptoms. I slowed down on the reishi because of the 5a-reductase inhibition but have been countering it with Sorghum and others.

Do you mean Maitake, or are you getting Shiitake from another vendor? Both Maitake and Turkey Tail have high beta glucans. Jumping right into 1g dosages can make your stomach a bit upset. That might be compounding with the Synapsa. I'd work my way up to 1g dosages to acclimate your GI tract.

Red reishi extract, increasing wellness.

Which extract did you take? Reishi can get super calming if you do it right. Our supercritical CO2 extract of reishi spore oil is something else. So calming. Feels like no other reishi.
