Despite all the great evidence around it, why is l-carnosine so little discussed here?

Instead of flooding this post with links, im just going to post the selfhacked write up on it. Plenty of studies are linked there.

Do you use nitrogen in your encapsulation process AND add antioxidants?

The manufacturer for our fish oil softgels does, yes. We don't on our normal capsules, as nitrogen purging is not needed for most products. It is more common on the fish oil softgel side of things. Our phosphatidylserine softgels do not add any antioxidants, as we are not offering the DHA version, and the softgel itself keeps oxygen out. The Smart-PS softgels have been shown to have no degradation at all after 24 months. So antioxidants are not needed in that formulation. It seems Swanson add it to their phosphatidylserine/DHA capsules, since they are using capsules instead of softgels, and there is DHA present in that formulation.
