Lion's Mane clinical trials

Hi there. Are there any concrete clinical trials that prove the efficacy of Lion's Mane in improving cognition or memory? Reason I ask is I've been taking 1gram of Host Defense Lion's Mane going on three months to hopefully repair damage done through binge drinking. I've found a few links online but I'm told there is not enough research to support claims that it can enhance memory or increase NGF. Is anyone taking Lion's Mane and what motivated you to invest in this supplement? What convinced you that it works? Thanks.

Yeah, I wasn't implying that you guys would just start fermenting mushrooms for the hell of it. I was just wondering if anyone in history fermented mushrooms, or if anyone considered it, or if there is something that prevents it. I figured you had looked into other fermented shit after researching/selling that fermented ginseng. I was really into reading different food/supplement fermentation studies for a while. I think there are definetly opportunities for fermented supplements that aren't currently sold. A lot of the benefits that would be derived from making a fermented product could be negligible when compared to the effect of making a more potent extract. Idk, I think fermentation is really interesting, and the idea that fermentation can change active compounds is incredibly cool to me.

It's definitely a cool concept. I'd have to do some research to see if anyone has ever fermented medicinal mushrooms.
