Lion's Mane clinical trials

Hi there. Are there any concrete clinical trials that prove the efficacy of Lion's Mane in improving cognition or memory? Reason I ask is I've been taking 1gram of Host Defense Lion's Mane going on three months to hopefully repair damage done through binge drinking. I've found a few links online but I'm told there is not enough research to support claims that it can enhance memory or increase NGF. Is anyone taking Lion's Mane and what motivated you to invest in this supplement? What convinced you that it works? Thanks.

When I look on the site I see lions mane already there.
Was soon really that soon or are you offering a new version of the product?
Can you offer advice as to the difference between the 2 offered versions?

We only have one Lion's Mane in stock right now. It's a 1:1 hot water extract of whole fruiting bodies. We are about to release a new 8:1 dual water/ethanol extract of Lion's Mane in the next month or so. That's going to replace our old 10:1 that you see there.
