Lion's Mane clinical trials

Hi there. Are there any concrete clinical trials that prove the efficacy of Lion's Mane in improving cognition or memory? Reason I ask is I've been taking 1gram of Host Defense Lion's Mane going on three months to hopefully repair damage done through binge drinking. I've found a few links online but I'm told there is not enough research to support claims that it can enhance memory or increase NGF. Is anyone taking Lion's Mane and what motivated you to invest in this supplement? What convinced you that it works? Thanks.

That is interesting to know,
so does that mean it has to be done in processing or is an enzyme co-packed? How can we tell if a purchased product is broken down from the label (or can we)?
When is certropic expecting to release their own (soon is so anticlimactic)?
I've been interested in lions mane lately but haven't pulled the trigger. Going on your definition I see the powdercity one (which I almost ordered) is standardized to polysaccharides.
All of this would make sense as to why results are so variable.

Usually you will do a hot water extraction, an ethanol extraction, or a combination of both.
We already offer a bunch of mushroom extracts on Nootropics Depot: http://nootropicsdepot.com/mushroom-extracts/
