What hasn't worked for you

It feels like I've tried just about everything out there and find that very very few substances actually have any effect that I can definitively confirm to myself as being a direct action from whatever I ingest. I'd even be happier if I'd gotten some side effects at least there would be some sign of efficacy at least. What hasn't worked for you and what was the biggest letdown ?

Ah, interesting. I've been taking a lot of DXM because I have been sick. I have bronchitis now though and the doc said I need to cough so to not take it except at night to help me sleep more peacefully. I just took some tianeptine and 25 mg felt more potent than usual. I check reddit and see this. Think it would reverse tolerance THAT quickly?

Yes, it really does work acutely. Some people take it with opiates to potentiate them.
