physiological opiate tolerance & dependence on Tianeptine?

starting taking it 3x daily. This seems like a recipe for absolute disaster since it's a mu-opiod agonist. what's the consensus on this? plenty of people seem to use it chronically w/o problems.

Yeah :/ I've been taking tianeptine for years. Had zero problems when I measured every single dose to around 12.5mg but eventually played with the dose a bit and got into trouble. That's been my dose for the past 6 months. The one positive is that I've stopped abusing most other drugs aside from once a month or so but I'm not sure if that's just because this has become my drug of abuse now. I guess it's better than smoking weed all the time, though.
I have been trying to keep it more in check lately with pretty good results, it's pretty forgiving that way with the antidepressant effect still there just slightly diminished.

So you've gone cold turkey off that dosage, and found minor withdrawals that last 3 days?
